Contract talks have broken down with Swansea as he was taking too long.

I wonder if King is still interested?

He might be, but unless we can swap him with fallon for example then it aint going to happen due to the fee involved.

We simply don't need that many front men , but if they can play in midfield...

i think its great we have 5 strikers! gives a lot of competition for places & puts pressure on them to score goals.

remember last season when we just had parkin & fallon to start with, fallon knew he was guaranteed to start and got lazy. the same probably would have happened this season with roberts, so this is a kick up the arse to all of them.

besides, roberts and cureton can both play out wide, and caton doesnt count yet

Yeh i have to agree. I think it would be nice to have 5 strikers next year, but at the moment, we don't seem to have a midfield! Although ideally i would keep burgess and fallon, i think that a central midfielder is needed far more than a striker at the moment.
After sitting around on the bench for two seasons, I expect fallon wants a change anyway... would suit all parties involved.

Id sooner have Burgess than Fallon, Rory gives it his all but i cant see him getting 10 goals in a season and thats no good im afraid.
