Fitton said it talking to Radio Swindon after 2 on Saturday, just before I left, pretty certain it was Kennedy. Didn't mention length or anything.

He's about 6ft isn't he? It's all right, I'm getting my coat, just waiting for the taxi...

JPM was bloody excellent last season. Before that he was dogshit and this season he's been pretty crap with Saturday being his worst game in a long time. If we can't get him back to last season then I think any cash is a bonus. I'm not sure who would take his place though. If Kennedy is the future then why the fuck sign 2 left backs in Rose and Sheehan - and we've already got JFL who seems to have disappeared altogether.

It was bad enough losing Greer to Brighton, to lose Douggie as well would be unacceptable.
To state the obvious.
Take with a pinch of salt/bollocks rumours etc etc but a guy I work with is quite friendly with Tony Bloom and has said on more than one occasion that he's a big fan of Douglas. He supposedly asked Fitton about him in the summer when they were doing the deal for Greer - think he was very quickly told to fuck off though thankfully.

I think there could be something in the JP one, even though he wants to stay apparently, if they get offered money with his contract coming to an end and his form this season, would be wise to cash in.
Agree. He's 30 odd too isn't he?

Yes - 30 y.o. I thought he was under contract until the end of next season (signed a further 2 years when his ran out end of last season) but I still can't see us getting more than a few tens of thousands for him as a transfer fee.
