Instead of starting a new thread, thought i'd tag onto this one

Where can I get front brake discs & pads replaced?
I have a Ford Fiesta (52 plate) 1300cc.
Mr Clunge is quoting £130, could anyone recommend anywhere cheaper?
Thanks Smiley

avoid fitters ie -shit fit etc.use a decent garage instead.myslef and all my family use m+b opposite the swiss chalet behind the car sales.have used them for years for all car work except tyres and exhausts

I have to recommend "technoquip" in techno trading estate for actual work... really good. Give them a call, they'll happily quote you over the phone.

- this is for discs and pads etc, not tyres ;-)

Blackcircles. Just got 2 Michelin Primacy's for just over 80 quid a throw. Even Costco couldn't beat that. By comparison, Kwik Fit were 120 quid each.

If you have a Nectar card, you can get Nectar points if you log into Blackcircles through their site.

The only down side is that it normally takes 2/3 days from order to fitting, so not really an option if its urgent.

Hope that helps.

I think they only do part worn tyres - £30 each
