Does anyone have any ideas why MSN would keep throwing me out every 5 minutes?  It's becoming slightly annoying...

Might be windows messenger conflicting. It happens to a lot of people. As windows messenger insists on signing in, it throws you out of msn and vice versa.

There is an option somewhere in windows messenger to make it stop (disable auto sign in and start up on log in). Didn't work for me though for some reason so I just removing windows messenger (basically disabling it - you can enable it again without a download or windows cd as well). To remove windows messenger:

*Go to control panel>add and remove programs
*Click add/remove windows components on the left side paneUn
*Untick windows messenger then click next and follow the wizard  through
*If you want to put it back in just do the same process but tick windows messenger (thus adding it back in)
