Cheers for the pointer re the boxoffice e-mail address, fired them off an e-mail with my details ... coincidentally whilst I was doing that I received an e-mail from Nick Watkins stating

"Jason from the STFC ticket office will be in contact with you to ensure that you obtain tickets for the Play Off final, should you still have not received them."

Which I guess means I must now be on the database, and if I have problems Jason will sort me out ... hopefully I now won't have to resort to plan B of using the Devizes address of an old friend of the missus, that she hasn't seen for years!!

Always think it's better to ring than e-mail. Gets the job done straight away and sorts any queries.

Could the Trust not act as a proxy for out of area folks wanting to buy tickets? I know it's circumventing the regs to some extent, but then so is normal season ticket holders (or even once they go on general sale, folks with SN* postcodes) buying tickets for friends of friends or whatever. It just seems like the coppers are being arseholes for the sake of it.

No need the ticket office guys will enter people onto the database so they can purchase tickets - problem solved
