But as a consolation you can sing his song:

Mcnamee, Mcnameee, Mcnamee oh Mcnamee
He's like a black Ronaldo
Mcnamee, Mcnamee.

does about 100 stepovers then delivers a poor cross.

You got that bit right that's for sure,I would rather have danny ward any day and he's not even a winger.Im glad he's gone and thats not being bitter,we've done far better without him.

Good luck to him tho i wish him no malice.

Does anyone think he would feature in our first team now (if he hadn't left)?

But would we have tried Ward on the wing in the first place if we had had a left-winger?

I am not chalky!

I do think you have him pretty much sussed.

You will also notice he does bugger all defensively and when he does not have the ball he is a passenger.

Austin was the missing piece so that's helped our form but Ward coming in on the left has played a part both offensively (more goals than Macca) and defensively.

I was glad he went. Surprised he went to you though. Is an average L1 player at best. You'll probably bomb him out next season.

Im a newbie to forums and have never thought of adding a post as they are usually full of 80% bollocks (great subtitle btw!) and in this case all the anti mcnammee commentas are 80% bollocks.

I dont get to many swindon games as i live in london now, so my comments may also be bollocks but every time i watched mcnamme he was either our only bit of creativity e.g orient away when we won 2-1 a couple of years ago, or was played out of the game. The reason he was played out of the game was because it was league 1! not because he was average and reached his supposed level in league 1. My point being, players thrive who are like your danny wards in league 1 because they put in a shift and also have a slight creative aspect to their game (which mcnammee had in abundance). But if mcnamee was playing now under wilson now he would produce more consistency as we seem to try to play ball more regularly, we seem to forget that wilson has taken a while to find his starting 11 under the formation he is playing.
I have seen the town play football the right way away from home against Franchise and fulham this season and at home agaisnt orient very well, i was very excited for town to be doing this at that level they are at and beieve this is the way forward but in games on poor pitches like on saturday and when the opposition trys to keep it tight and get at us of course players like mcnammee will struggle. To disregard him as average because he has supposedly reached his level at league 1 is a joke!, talk to watford fans!. As a town fan in london i have done so and they love the guy, he is a quality player who likes to play ball the right way shame shift workers thrive in league 1, otherwise he may have got a better look in.

p.s looking to the future lloyd macklin should be treasured as mcnammee was'nt he will be shunted off for cash in a few years, we should be looking after creative young talent in this league to build for a future where its truly appreciated....oh i forgot that requires ambition!

We're a much better team without him.

That is all.
