Any Holmes deal could be affected by this ground breaking, earth shattering news from the midlands.

Our thoughts and condolences go to George's family at this difficult time.

Bugger, this could put a spanner in the works.  Any new manager will take time to assess the squad and see who he will need next season, by the time this is done it could be too late.  Unless we get in there straight away to get him in.

On a more positive note the new manager might not see the potential in young Holmes and release him on a free!  Cheesy

Were we ever going to get Holmes anyway?

been on the cards for a while.

how do you figure that out? they dont have a manager. They're not going to be loaning out anyone til the new man is in place which could take months.

because he hasn't featured in the first team at all this year so he's likely to be on the loan-outable list, surely

he's been on the bench for them. I'd have thought that any new manager would at least want a look at him before he's shipped out on a season long loan.

Also, Derby could lose some players now Burley's gone
