For some random reason today, my thoughts turned to the quotes of Eddie waring.
* "Aye, aye...! It's an awkward one the boy's got to deal with it."
* "It's a test of a lot of things: speed, strength, courage and....faith... I suppose."
* "That's one ton of rugby you're looking at there... Beef, brains, brawn, muscle.... The lot of it."
* "He's goin' for an early bath."
* "Eeee, he's a pocket battleship."
* "This lad's a butcher - but I've never had any of his meat."
