Clearly I don't give a monkeys what the Picts get up to in their tinpot barbarian league although I did enjoy listening to some Sweaty McNumpty being interviewed on the radio saying he didn't like Strachan and didn't think he was a good manager - after winning them 3 TPL (tin pot league) titles on the bounce.

However clearly the burning issue here is whether this means Celtic will now no longer be in the running in the Great Coxy Auction and if so does that mean we'll get less dosh? Likewise with the Great Morrison Auction. Presumably a change of manager could scupper their interest in both deals.

He's off to Sunderland.

I think you could be right about Cox to.

Sunderland are like Toon and the Smoggies in that they've all paid way over the odds for a load of shite. At least Sunderland have done it with mostly English and Scottish players - £9m for Gordon. Strachan for Sunderland is a good shout and if he was interested in them for Celtic then he might want them for Sunderland. On the basis of what they've paid out on shit defenders then Morrison is worth loads.

I'd like Strachan back in England, his post-match interviews were brilliant.

According to The Sun, West Brom manager Tony Mowbray is the favourite to succeed Gordon Strachan at Celtic.

So the Cox to Celtic deal could still be a goer afterall?!

Reporter: 'Gordon, can we have a quick word please?'
Strachan: 'Velocity.'  (Walks off.)

Genius.  I like him.

Apart from his post match interviews I think he was great as a pundit/analyst for the Beeb. In contrast Martin O'Neil never seemed to have a clue but both have done alright as managers.

My mum's boyfriend is a Celtic fan and he couldn't believe some fans have called for Strachan to leave. I get the feeling they should have been careful what they wished for. I think Mowbray is is too stuck in his ways to get  long term success at  club who won't splash the cash to get the players to fit the system.

I know I probably shouldn't, but I like his England bashing quotes:

Reporter: Gordon, Do you think James Beattie deserves to be in the England squad?
Strachan: I don't care, I'm Scottish.

Reporter: Gordon, if you were English, what formation would you play?
Strachan: If I was English I'd kill myself! ...

Celtic fans are fucking deluded. They have been moaning about Strachan for years and would look for any excuse to get rid of him.

PS £9million for Gordon is money well spent IMO.

Strachan won 3 in a row which statistically makes him one of the all time great Celtic Managers.

Deluded is the word. Apparently there was trouble at Celtic Park on Sunday as Hearts fans when hearing Rangers were 3 up were singing '3-0 to the Champions' and this didn't go down very well!

My pal runs the Camberley Celtic Supporters club...

I went there to see the final match..

"Fuck off ya wee ginger pixie baaaaastard!"  seemed to be the general view whenever Strachan appeared on the screen.
