I retired from 11 a side too, but about 5 weeks ago.  Playing on the county ground tomorrow as a goodbye 11 a side game, some family and friends are coming and thought it was a nice way to go.

i had to retire after snapping my cruciate ligament 3 seasons ago.
3 ops later it's fixed but i wont risk playing incase it snaps again.

Golf on a sunday is much more fun and relaxing.
well until you spend half the day looking for all the balls you've shanked into the bushes

Went to bluebell woods today with dogs and must say sundays seem longer without footy and with the little time I have off its a good thing.

Ive taken to DIY too, so suggest you find an alternative thing to do
