Amusing banner

Saw this on BBC sport and it made me laugh.  Apparently a banner was spotted at the Man Utd v Everton Semi Final saying "Superman wears Tim Cahill pyjamas".

Sorry Doore, I just don't understand the banner to be honest....why superman....why pyjamas. 
Or am I just being JFW about the whole thing?

Kids wear superman pyjamas to be like a superhero.  Superman wears Tim Cahill pyjamas - ergo Tim Cahill is a superhero to Superman. 

I'm no Everton fan but a huge Cahill fan - bargain of the century.  I may concede that the banner itself may not be comedy gold - I've had a slow evening.

Ah! I think it was the pyjamas bit that threw me; wearing a cape, and your pants on the outside of your tights.....then I would have understood.

Any banner that requires a definition 5 banner combo so everyone gets it, doesn't really work.

Everybody needs a good nights sleep every so often, even if it's just for chilling out purposes. Maybe he's got a set of pyjamas with really mild kryptonite sown in? Not strong enough to hurt him, but to tone down his magic non sleep powers and help him catch some z's.
