It really is wank isn't it? This last year I have started making my coffee using a cafetiere and it is so much nicer and cheaper to boot.

It's fucking awful but in a good way.  A bit like supermarket vodka.

It does help you appreciate a decent cup though, which is usually Sunday's treat.

I couldn't bring myself to use a cafetiere at work though.  There's a chap here who does and he gets mercilessly ripped for it plus he ponces around for 10 mins with it in the morning before he starts work.

My Sunday hangover coffee is indeed a treat!

I would never use a cafetiere at work although I work with loads of continentals so I probably would get less stick then in the UK. The coffee in our canteen is ok, although I don't think it is strong enough for me.

Nescafe is all I seem to drink these days, I have cut back drinking coffee at home.

Nescafe is rank and you don't ever get used to the horrible taste.
