Listening to RS this morning it seems this fella had had a couple of beers with mates in the town centre (I'm assuming in a pub and not with the tramps by Greggs), and on his way home he was attacked in Granville Street walking towards the CG.

The police are heavily hinting they believe it's Town fans, as they were wearing dark "stone island" jackets.  Then they starting going on about Swindon Rovers being a bit tasty and how much trouble there's been over the last three years.

The thing that's annoying me is the way the police are saying they think it's Town fans yet they haven't once mentioned the possibility that it could have been Leicester fans.  If it was football fans at all that is.

Wish the bloke well in hospital though as it does sound a nasty beating he suffered.

Oh, right, didn't realise they had THAT weight of evidence. That's it case closed then. FFS, no wonder they never catch anyone

Well, the evidence does sound pretty conclusive. I suggest they kick us out of all European competitions for the next 3 seasons as a punishment.

Hmm, man beaten up. Suspected football connection. Ady Williams arrested on suspicion of ABH.

I'd imagine CID are putting 2 and 2 together right now.

Apparently they've been working on that all day, but still have no definitive answer Smiley

I have a theory that the victim was mistaken for a Leicester City supporter and attacked by a group of people intent on assaulting a rival fan, but I am keeping an open mind.

It's going over old ground I know, but it has to be said......'what a cunt'  No
