Used it for a couple of days but just couldn't get on with it. Loads pages faster than any other browser but Firefox is still better with addons.

Sounds good then... My PC is somewhat shit in terms of speed etc so that may help me out a bit!
I am not too fussed about add-ons, Reading about Chrome looks like it will have add-ons soon as well...

I don't like Google knowing anymore than they have to. Admittedly, most of their products are superb, but letting them give me a browser is one step to far imo. It just seems that this, coupled with the proliferation of Analytics, would enable them to get all the info they could ever need regarding surfing patterns.

Slight difference GFM, one's your shopping habits, one is everything you do online.

I used chrome for a weeks trial and found it very fast loading pages but a lot of java and flash enabled web sites just would not load with it, I have since ditched it and gone back to Mozilla Firefox.

unless you are viewing rape porn or something werid like that what is the problem? I don't really look at anything on line that I would be ashamed of if it were ever published some of it is abit out of character but nothing dodgy?

They could publish my surfing tracks if they wanted, but it's giving them loads of info to enable "better" advertising, not seeing what i'm doing that annoys me.

If they want information that can improve their marketing, therefore their bottom line, they should pay us to use their browser. Plus, the thought of Google having a doorway into my pc is wrong, if i choose to do something they wouldn't like, they have no right to judge me on that, and they will. Google likes to act like the some kind of legal entity at times, and makes sure no one's spamming their results. If i went and proxied up and threw up a load of forum spam or something, i wouldn't be happy doing it with a browser created by the very people i am targetting.
