I used to go to Corals in Calne and whack a few quid on the fixed odds........seems they have knocked the fixed odd sheets on the head now!

Do it all on the net now FLASH. The best part is that it doesn't even feel like you are spending money.

I do pop in the shop when we're at home though.
Funnily enough Whits I am just experimenting with adding all the prohibitively priced banker wins (Germany, Spain, Portugal etc) to my accumulator to boost my potential winnings.

I am tempted to lay £250 against England at 1/25.
In other words if England win I lose £10, but if they don't win I get £250.

I've never placed a bet in my life until this morning. I've given into peer pressure - a few of my friends are having a challenge to see who can make the most out of £10, so I've decided to join in. Some have gone for 10 bets, a pound each, others have lumped all £10 on Wolves winning the Championship (:|). I have gone for a tentative start (to say the least), 25p on Hartlepool winning at Millwall @2-1, and 50p on a Tranmere - Oldham draw @ 11-5.

Umm, no it's a lay. If I wanted England to win, I'd be betting £250 for returns of £10.

Oh, didn't see the lay bit. If you are being that generous can I have £250,000 to win £10,000?
