That was top drawer - one of my all time favourite games. Looking it that makes me realise I didn't fully appreciate at the time just how good Tom Jones was. Hazard and Foley looked damned good as well.

We were suffering a hangover that season from the double demotion/reduced on appeal fiasco and I think as result we only just stayed up. You wonder why we weren't going for promotion though looking at that.

Do you know that is the first time I have seen Parkin's goal? Couldn't see bugger all from the away end and haven't ever wanted to watch any footage since. Good find Dan Jackson.

I was living in Slave Trade Central when we beat them 4-0. I didn't know it was all ticket for Town so ended up sitting in the Grandstand along with a load of other Town fans. It got very lairy in there but when Chalkie stuck in the 4th that was it, I didn't care any more, particularly the stick the great man was getting. I shot up from my seat and 4 monsters in front of me shouted "cunt" got up from their seats, pushed me out of the way and smacked the Swindon fan behind me in the gob.
That night I got absolutely leathered and decided it was pay back time for my next door neighbour. When the Slave Traders had beaten Town previuosly I got all the newspaper cuttings thruogh my letter box the next morning. This time I had a massive Swindon Town flag and got up very unsteadilly on a ladder and put the flag across his bedroom window. I knew the exact moment he opened up his curtains that morning.
One of my best ever memories follwoing town. Hazard and Jonah were absdoutely brilliant that day and the Man himself got 2 goals.
