The student accomendation plans for the memorial have definately fallen through. Which is confirmed on their OS. Fans site claim it no longer to be Waddon Road next season.

I guess they can't start building now.

Didn't they arrange busses last week to take supporters to Whaddon Road to check out the stands and decide where they wanted their S/T ?

It seems so amateurish that it makes me wonder whether any of our former men in charge are involved.

The following is a statement released by Bristol Rovers on Friday afternoon:

The directors of Bristol Rovers Football Club have recently been made aware that the preferred student accommodation provider negotiating the stadium regeneration is no longer able to progress the project.

As a result the club has entered into negations with an alternative provider.

A further statement will be made next week.

"student accommodation provider"? Do you mean builders or do they offer 'traffic cone space solutions'?

There has been no sign of building work and nobody wants to take the job on, I bet they will still be at the Memorial Stadium next season

Student accomodation is usually provided by a firm. Rather than Rovers running the flats they would contract it out to a 'student accomodation provider'

I'm sure Rovers must have one of them.....if not then the SAS might help.
