Do any of you on here use the Apple OSX operating system regularly? Either at home or at work! I have used it a bit but want to know other peoples views on it. I am looking at buying a MAC to go with my PC so i can write some cross-platform programs! It is supposed to be the dogs but just trying to get some first-hand comments!

Yes!
I've got OS9 at home but use OSX at work.
I wouldn't have a clue what it's like for programing though, I'm just a designer, so run Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator etc..
You're right though, it is the dogs!

I would say that's spot on.
Do you know what mac you'll be getting Titch?
My mates just bought this and is well chuffed:

Or there's the new one, but it's got a G4, not the newer G5 processor. And you have to buy a screen, keyboard and mouse seperately (although you can buy it all bundled in some places). Quite cool though and absolutely tiny:

Not really looked at the hardware side of things to be honest, been concentrating on the OS side of things but I did like look of that powermac G5 so it will probably be one of them. Was very keen on dual processor as I am seriously thinking of making it my main machine!
Intialially was thinking of getting the mini one but i am one of those people who like the latest technology so if i was to buy that and like it, which i probably will, i would only have to go and buy a new one anyway!
