Is there a reason you can't just plug an ipod into a thingy imput on your normal musical player thingy?

I never did get the ipod dock stuff, although I don't own an ipod. I think I'd rather play stuff through my hi-fi rather than a small speaker thing.

Of course I'm assuming a lot there like already having a hi-fi and having the space for one etc etc

Not quite Sam.

The Bose sound dock really kicks the sound out, good bass and it sounds superb.

Why do you need to spend so much on something which are basically glorified travel speakers though?

And if you're going to use it at home, £200 would get you a set of bookshelf speakers that would do a better job than that portable jobbie.

I know you said that money wasn't really an issue, but if you fancy lowering the budget considerably, and want something that is very portable, I got these a while back. Sound quality is superb for such a small unit. Charges your iPod aswell.
