just finished the damned united about clough's 44 days in charge at leeds- quality read, anyone with any interest in the great man should (and probably already has) have a read.

also polished off a book called the kite runner, about afghanistan and other stuff, highly recommended and i hear its been made into a film which will probably be wank.

read both of these books please  :smile1:

have seen that in the shops and my girlfriend's mum says the film was really good

half way through freakonomics at the mo. the 'how is the klu klux klan like a group of real-estate agents?' and 'why do drug dealers still live with their moms?' chapters are particularly ace.

onto liar's poker when i'm done with this.

nice to read well-written books about economics at the mo when i'm spending most of my time buried in stereotype threat and visualisation is sport journal articles for the essay and dissertation i'm currently doing

I've got that (Freakonomics) - it was a good read.
