Italian Steward: "Do you have any offensive weapons concealed inside that scooter sir?"

Inter Fan: "Of course not mate, you can check it if you like.."

Italian Steward "No problem, in you go.."

I think the problems over here are mainly due to the lack of proper policing. In England, when you do something wrong at a match, they haul you out and into a cell, sometimes even if you're innocent, especially if you're an away fan.

But over here the police don't ever want to go near the 'curvas' where the hard-core are because they know that a few thousand nutters wouls start a full on riot. For them it's not worth the bother really. It happens every single weekend, though not to the extent that Dida felt...

When the flare hit Dida all of the Inter Ultras (and most of the crowd) were chanting 'DIDA! DIDA! VAFANCULO (fuck off you fucking fuck face)!' for a fucking age... They loved it.

But the hooligans don't even drink!! They may have a robust red later on in the evening, but they generally do all of their hooliganism sober as a judge.

And NOBODY wears football shirts here.... not when they go down the pub, not when they're poncing around town, not when they're mincing around in the park with a ball, not even when they go to the match! Losers.

My local pub is called the Bristol    But there's nothing English about it except for a few pictures of boats in England.
