ok ok its another post but i need to get this out of my system.

I travelled to Carlisle yesterday taking 2 days off work and sat on a bloody coach for 10 hours (yes stupid I know).

There was no passion what so ever from the team. It is clear the off the field stuff is affecting the team.

FOR GOD SAKE SORT THIS STUFF OUT NOW!

We are so far in the shit it is unbelievable as we all know. Ok we may have injuries, suspensions etc. but we have Paynter who is slow and lazy up front. He needs to start on the bench next week, throw Corr up there or even Sturrock atleast he runs around if nothing else. Paynter isn't scoring and if Sturrock doesnt then well, atleast he is putting some effort in.

Us fans put the fucking effort in to follow you up and down the country, why dont you overpaid (sometimes) prima donnas do the fucking same?

Get a manager with balls now, fuck Fitton, hire someone now, everyone knows we will be waiting for next friday, NEXT FRIDAY NEVER COMES so just hire someone now before we are back in League 2.

If the players showed the same committment to football as you do to going out on the lash on the weekend we would be near the top of the table.

Show the same passion the fans show by continually coming to watch substandard performances from so called professionals.

I like everyone here love this club but I am sick to fucking death of it.

The message is clear to the players. Grow a set of balls and stand up and be counted.  :x  :x  :x

Why should they feel passion for a club they have no affiliation to?

At the end of their day it's their job Gaz - don't get me wrong, I'd love to every player battle for the shirt but thats never going to be the case at any club.

They could atleast play like they want to win, end of the day I am sure they get bonuses for wins etc...

The takeover must be effecting them indirectly though.

Look at it this way. In your job you work really hard, then you realise your employer is in financial turmoil and you could be out of a job in the very near future. What would you do?

Putting a good performance may enhance your opportunities yes. Very true. But apart from Tozer, who's going to be interested in anyone else?!

Good shout. It just winds me up where more of our fans showed up than I thought would and apart from 10 minutes we were shit. Byrne said so himself, although it is his job to ensure we dont but hey ho...

It was their myth after all - that the kind of feelings fans experience watching football are the same feelings that the team needs to have on the pitch in order to win.

......and thats exactly why our team is much worse off without Peacock. At least he plays like he fucking wants it, at least he isnt afraid to roll his sleeves up and get stuck in.

A team always needs one or two battlers in it, ours is missing.

I don't think slagging Byrne off is in any way useful.

The bloke has already said he won't be looking for the job fulltime, he's just covering until we find a replacement for Sturrock.

At least he's prepared to help out in the interim. FFS guys, it isn't his fault the squad's been decimated.

Lets focus our bile on the correct recipients, not a bloke who's trying to fill a gap for our club...................
