My work run these every week, todays is:

Wanted : One England Football Manager. Who do you think would be great at the job?

Just take a look at some of the stupid options. I'll let you have a vote in it as well.

Personally, my money's on Delia.

Cherie Lunghi deffo.

She understood the basics of how a midfield works

"he's your ball winner, he's your spreader, and he's your runner"

If only successive England managers had paid more attention when watching "The Manageress". Only Hoddle ever seemed to understand these principles.

The bloke is a thug.  Did anyone see the BBC1 programme when he tried to get his conviction quashed for some trouble he was involved in during the strikes of the seventies?

It was ace at the start of the programme he was portrayed as being holier than thou but by the end you realised that the bloke was just a thug.  Some old fella put him in his place good and proper.

I didn't know that.  I was just relating my opinion to him as Jim Royal!

No I know, it was just funny seeing this fella you associate as being a laugh, Jim Royal, Mike Bassett, the brookside character having a real dark side.

Really put me off the bloke tbh.

I'd like to see Ray Stubbs given a try. Or Stanley Kubrick.

I voted Ricky Tomlinson. Have you not seen the film?!  Wink

Actually it wouldn't surprise me to see Shearer's name mentioned. People give him stick for his comments on MOTD but he seems to talk sense to me
