It is; listing at low prices is a good idea as you do get more people interested. I sell loads of stuff on e-bay and selling at a low start price does work.

Fingers crossed for you; if it's advertised properly then you should be ok; just don't be too disapointed if you don't get the full price; you can never tell with e-bay.

don't panic, see what its like with a few hours left and get a mate to put in your 'reserve bid' then, at least then it won't go for a silly price.

I've sold hifi before that was 99p 5 mins before it ended and went for 300 quid. people snipe at the last minute, it's the way of the ebay.

If you've got a reserve price in mind ask someone else with an ebay account to push the price up for you, but putting in a bid of say £50.
If it's worth that, then the bidding will beat that anyway but at least you've got a get out clause...
Whereas if it finished for 99p you are legally obliged to sell if for 99p.

That is the easiest way decide on the price that you would accept and ask a couple of freinds with ebay accounts to put a couple of bids in that are reasonably high then at least when it sells you either re-list it with your reserve or list it with a higher starting price.

There's a lot of people out there that look at auctions on ebay and see that not enough information has been listed and try and pick up the items at bargain prices even though they don't want them but they just re-list them with more info and either make their money back or make a profit, ut saying that a lot of people leave it to the last few hours to bid thinking they will get it at a better price.....don't always work though.

Seconded.  Took me ages to battle it even though the seller was claiming to have sent an item which I never received.  Gopt my money back and reported him to trading standards.  One click of a button.

The number of watches means very little, I have had loads of people watching my auctions before and then it doesn't sale.

I wouldn't buy clothes on ebay, far too many fakes.
