Was anyone who went actually sober??

yes i was, and we played well and I would have been quite disappointed with a point.

Good news.

According to Willy Donachie, the reason we won was that we had more 'big strong men' than they did. Which I suppose is just what you need at this level.

I seem to recall Collins being proper solid. Both in terms of performance and hard-man stature.

He won every ball in the air, but I think it was collins that made the error that led to their goal, although overall he was excellent

has it got a background noise of us (well the chelsea lot) fighting over a chair? I'll be disappointed otherwise.

Heard that Big Sam was more dominant in the air than Blackburn the week earlier .. once hes got a few games under his belt he is gonna be more than a useful addition ..  Beers

I still don't quite understand how one day the squad is apparently a bit too big, and then next we go out and get a loan signing at centre half where we've got 6 or 7 first team squad players capable of playing there.

OK could say take Ady off that list as a long term injury, and Hasney as he's crocked as well, but that still leaves:

Blackburn
Almeida
Nicholas
Vincent

All of which play or have played at C/H.

It raises some questions about the Almeida signing, and about whether Luggy's already made his judgement of Blackburns potential.

Nicho is injured which leaves vincent as our only left back.Almedia is injured and blackburn is not good enough
