Remind me again now. Aren't Histon a part-time outfit who should clearly be gubbed by any full-time side, never mind the massive footballing behemoth from down the road? Clearly not

Make no mistakes here.

The fact that we are playing in the same division as Histon, Salisbury, Droylesden, Farsley Celtic, Forset Green Rovers............

is bad enough.

To lose to Histon, a village team with so few supporters that we could not even make out what they were singing from the other end of the pitch, who are a part time outfit, and had played against Torquay 46 hours earlier.

SIMPLY IS NOT ACCEPATBLE. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS.

Histon beat Chippenham in a two legged play off in the southern premier a few years ago. Think thats as good as it got for Chippenham for a while.

To be fair to the Oxford fans, they said Histon would be a difficult game. Hope those that travelled didn't get fence envy (see wikkipedia for ground pic) Snigger.

Apparently, there is a certain John Beck assistant manager at Histon, I have got a feeling that not much football was played in this game if it is the same John Beck.
