Does anyone play this outside of Somerset/Dorset/Devon?

It's a big deal down here, with Winter and Summer Leagues.

Until I moved down here I'd never played, or been in a pub I was aware had an alley.

It's a good excuse to go to the pub on a Monday night Cheesy

The Red House in Purton still has a proper skittle alley.

I've played skittles in the PoW,  years ago mind I doubt its still there.

The White Hart in Wroughton has one which I've played in relatively recently.

Indeed, a classic example of rampant Thatcherism, being able to ride roughshod over the average working man.

Used to play skittles on a table with the cheeses at the local, got rid of the table a couple of years ago, damn shame, it's good fun.
