Dunno, but there about to turn our Water off until at least Wednesday in Tewkesbury as I quote 'they didn't put their flood defences up in time today (Sunday)' at the water treatment plant. How fucking dumb can they be, it was flooding all around them for the last day and a half so all the Severn Trent managers should get the sack. That means we've got no water to clean cars, the house etc........utter chaos, and the water levels rising again :|

Understand that Sanitin, knew you would pull that up. I didnt put my view across in the way I intended but yeah I am big enough (no pun intended) to say I was a cunt for what I wrote. Think weve all seen how bad these floods were and how it can cause massive damage. Im surprised more people on here havent been affected.
Anyway I was wrong and apologies if I offended anyone

I do love the way our Country falls to pieces with a bit of dodgy weather though. I was in Florida when a Hurricane came through and the whole state just switched mode for a day or two to ensure they cope, then flicks straight back. Everything shuts, bunkers down and sees it out. Most of our problems are caused by trying to carry on regardless and then we end up with 10 minute journeys in Town taking 2 hours because nobody had stayed at home.

Carrying on as normal is a British trait, a good one imho. Fucking americans 'bunker down' for anything.

Most of our problems this week was poor drivers! One big puddle on Bassett road and the tail backs were 2 miles, all they had to do was drive through it at the edge slowly, but no lets try and drive through the middle! Same goes for when it snows!

Nah, I still went out for dinner that night, just they stop the stupid unimportant stuff (I'm not talking about America as a whole, just that state) like going to work in a call centre etc. there were still people out surfing though. They just seemed to understand that mother nature wins, everytime. Better to let her have her stage and then come on for the encore. We have idiots deciding 6 inches of rain means the end of the world as we know it. In Bangladesh their bloody houses get washed away, here we get emotional about some pensioner who looses her carpet. We might carry on regardless, but we don't half make a Saturday evening melodrama out of it.
