i fucking hate that ashcroft, i wish the drugs did work, then i could space out and forget about him.

most over-rated band of the last 10 years.

no way! they were a great band for that era! i actually rate them higher than Oasis. Bittersweet Synphony is a classic!

are you a mental?
i've heard reports that they are the 'secret act' being lined up for reading.

why would i be mental?  :?

The Verve were the best 'Indie' band of the nineties imo.
A Storm In Heaven is fantastic... one of my favourites from my indie boy days. A Northern Soul is also fantastic although very dark and at times a tad depressing. Urban Hymns was a good record but pointed towards a more mainstream audience and never really grabbed me in the same way.

But a comeback is not a good thing. The Northern swagger mid nineties bullshit don't wash with me no more. Take note Liam Gallagher.

Seems pathetic now, how I used to idolise these fuckwits.

Love 'em. Favourite track - History.

Will be trying for tickets at London Roundhouse on 8/9 November when they go on sale next week.

That's a good question... thinking about it, I don't really idolise anyone these days, more of a respect thing.
