I remember Hoggard taking the first wicket of the last Ashes series back here in England. He has left handers playing all over the place and some don't agree but I think he's well worth his place in the test side.

currently ranked joint 6th best test bowler in the world, up-to-date as of the 3rd test in which he played no part. in fact he took no wickets in this series until the 4th test so his ranking is based on what he did in the ashes and before.

To left handers though, he's easily the best bowler in the world.

The late swing gets them playing all over the place.

They showed a stat earlier, he has taken the most test wickets against left handers in the world.

shame for him that he can't play our lot: tresco never liked swing, neither does cook, strauss is a walking wicket at the moment, and monty may as well be holding a stump for all the use he is with the bat. he'd be miles in front.

as Geoff Boycott says he can swing an Orange. He is very good to left handers. I remember him getting Lara out quite few times in 2004 in the West Indies and in England.
