About the story on the 125th anniversary dinner, there is a picture of Sturrock and 3 players and ex players with their wives (the WAG furthest to the left looks yummy), however look at the happy couple on the right of the picture, doesn't it make you feel all warm inside!!

 I've always thought that to be the case....best exemplified by Jaws getting that little specky bird in Moonraker.

 BTW any progress with the bird in the petrol station?  (or did I imagine that?)

Unfortunately not, I did the old note written in my best French avec mon numero de phone, but didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks. I was a bit embarrassed to go back but plucked up the courage one night, took the car to the petrol station, went in all confident and she wasn't working! Had planned to go back soon after but then I fucked my leg and I am unable to venture much out of the house for 6 weeks so its all on the backburner. I could hobble in on my crutches and play for the sympathy vote!

Stalking isn't going to be very easy on crutches. Bearing in mind it is a total painful effort getting from the lounge to the bathroom, it is going to be bloody difficult going to the garage 1/2 a mile or so away!!
