seriously though, did anyone know what the injury was? it looked just like what happened to michael owen in the world cup.

It wasn't anywhere near as bad as Owens.....The fact he kept playing for a further 5 minutes afterwards, showed it wasn't  Wink

I thought Westwood did a good job filling in for him though.

westwood has done a good job filling in for him whenever he's played there...never looked out of his depth.

i heard him talk about it on the radio, he said his body went one way his ankle the other, and he said he thinks it's just a sprain, he wanted to stay on but it hurt to sprint and he said he couldn't risk playing on.
