There are a number of positives to be taken from yesterday's game:

Firstly, those Royal Marines who abseiled from the roof of the South Stand and started smacking each other around with baseball bats were marvellous. Even the Rockin Robin joined in the fun and games.  Great fun!

I also particularly enjoyed Daryl Lipsey's half time interview about the Swindon Wildcats forthcoming League Cup Final thingy against Romford.  It was very informative.  LET'S GO YOU CATS LET'S GO!

And the whitty banter (totally unrelated to football) and constant high pitched shreaking from the gang of 11/12 year olds (the fans of the future!) right behind me had me in stitches for the whole game (until 15 minutes from the end that is, when the excitement on the pitch got too much for me and I was forced to leave).

These things on their own made the 300 mile round trip worth the effort.  So you see, no matter how awful/inept/dire/atrocious the game might be, there's always something you can take from it.
