..and round we go again....and again...and again.

Broken record.

lets have an example Gazza

Q: Are you up to date with the CVA?
A: We have met all current requirements.

Q: Are we going to move to Chippenham.
A: It's a last-resort.

Now, given the answer to the first question, which has been shown to be an utter lie, why do you have such confidence that the second one is accurate? Even if it were accurate, and it was the 'last-resort', that is too much - the consideration of it is too much and to me, shows that they place their back pockets over the concerns of thousands of fans.

Because if this is guaranteed money and they could meet the CVA now becasue of this move then surly they would have already moved or B announced plans to officially move so they can get loans etc on the back of the stadium development at J17 and make money off the stadium development NOW.

People may say I am naive or whatever but being quite honest, seeing the abuse the current board get I wouldn't want a "fans" position on the board anyway, It would take a lot of convincing, just need to look at the facts. If it all went tits up people would blame "that fan" for not noticing it etc or making people aware of it, would I really want that on my shoulders? No.

I am happy to make suggestions and give my opinion etc and have told the club how I and other fans would be opposed to a move to Chippenham and a rise in ticket prices next season even if we are promoted. It's best to keep these big crowds going, especially young fans who are the future, get them hooked before they start wactching Chelsea, Man Utd etc.

People don't see this as ofcourse it does not get posted on here. Anyone can write to the club explaining how they feel. I have always had a response and would imagine you would too.

If people do have serious complaints etc I would write or call the club.

I have no idea who you really are Gaz. From what I have read of you you seem a decent enough person and well known to many equally passionate fans.

All that said, you do seem a tad naive mate. I have no idea what agenda you are working to; dazzled by the attention of the temporary power brokers at the county ground maybe? the promise of a position of high office one day?

One thing I can guarantee though is that you are making a right cunt of yourself by being so non-confrontational about the obvious shitty situation between the board and fans. I would have no problem with you disagreeing with popular opinion and putting your point of view accross as best you can, but your oh so fucking obvious attempts to 'concentrate on promotion' etc are just taking the piss.

Makes no odds to me personally gaz but you definately have carved yourself out a front seated slot in the soon to be launched  'STFC supporters Cunt of the year' competition.

If anyone has a nice pic of Gaz lying around, please post it up so that I can get one of my lazy studio geeks to work on it Wink

They're even writing your script now.

There is no way on this earth that Gazza wrote that himself.

Anyway quite how this forum came to discuss half threads about one of the people that was the reason for setting it up in the first place is beyond me.

Gary's comments won't do any harm here. Maybe on other sites with some of the more impressionable folk.

The Board apologists are beginning to sound like flammableBen pretending he hasn't got GRID in the hope it just goes away one day.

Gary - I've got a lot of time for you and have nothing against you but please don't be so naive, you're making a fool of yourself.

You know as well as anyone (or do you) that there's more to moving a football club than merely announcing it.

Can't be arsed, it's like trying to explain the ins and outs of the Cold War to a toddler and getting the reply 'they could just be friends'
