The good: interviewing henrik larsson today.

The bad: spending 10 1/2 hours getting to and from united's training ground. Virgin train bastards.

The ugly: getting home from manchetser to find my road cordoned off by the rozzers.

mad day.

2004 - I'd left by then, sheff wed 2-3 and day of Jimmy Davis sadly passing was my last day at stfc. A sad day, loved working at Town. I still do stuff for the proggy though, but defo wasn;t my old boy. hhhmmmm, what did he look like? My dad only goes to away games when I go - but he does go home every saturday - sure you didn't meet him in't winners?

can't remember what he looked like, only remembered when i realised who you were. i was in the scarborough arms in tickhill with some wednesday fans, there was a town fan in there who we got talking to. i'm sure he said his son was you, i must be going mad.

the sheff wed home game was a hell of a day, it was insanely hot, the game started off awfully then we turned it on and i was convinced we'd go up after that.

hearing about jimmy as we made our way out of the cg was a really odd feeling, sudden shock after such elation.

I found out before the game, we heard someone had died and then linda birrell told me it was him - the atmosphere was so good at the game I shed a tear or 50 at kick off - stood at the sidelines and just thought - no one knows yet. mad

i found 5 mins before kick off when my mate told me and then it was announced on 5 live seconds later my mate told me. I shed a tear then and then at the notts county home game at the minute silence.

I'm not just being callous here etiher:

The subsequent inquest reported that Davis, 21, was more than twice over the legal drink-drive limit and it was believed that he had been driving at speeds of up to 120mph when losing control of his car.
