I don't buy the programme anyway, it's full of 'The Company Line'.

sounds to me like a standard sale-or-return agreement...  almost all magazines and newspapers are sold to the retailer in this way, so it's hardly the favourable deal that starmes would have you believe!

Don't buy the programmes and hit Dunwoody where it hurts, especially if the board try and block this takeover, you have to make the club sell to the consortium.

Smarmes would say they do it for free, he would also probably say that they don't make any money on the programmes, but we all know that guy talks shit!

I  started my boycott of programs early. I only buy (very) big game keepsake programs now - I just chuck them into a box to be forgotten for all erernety anyway.

Batch, you do realise there's a difference between a boycott and trying to make a virtue out of being tight?  Cheesy

Right, you really think anyone gets appointed Chief Exec without Diamandis' explicit say-so? Diamandis runs the club, end of, the poor mug currently carrying the title of Chief Exec is just "Chief Scapegoat and Fall Guy" unless he starts trying to act as a proper Chief Exec in which case he only has the example of Mark D to look at to see what will happen

Ok

So this is how the programme deal works Im led to believe ;

Dunwoody produce the programme and provide around 500 copies to the club FOC. They keep all the revenue generated and are responsible for paying the sellers. Any ad revenue they generate, they keep.

Make of that what you may.

Programme boycott would not only hurt Dunwoody from loss of actual sales, but would have a detrimental efect on advertising revenue through the programme and into the coffers at Newbury.

Can I just remind everyone of the mandate that was given to the Consortium once more ;

Linda Burrell be reinstated immediately

Independent auditors to examine the affairs of the club over the previous 5 years

All Dunwoody contracts to be immediately terminated and investigated

A fans representative to be elected to the board.

Mark Devlin to be retained as Chief Exec.

Makes perfect sense to me .............
