I've just had the pleasure of talking to Malcolm Crosby, always thought he was a top bloke. And I quote:

"I'd love to see Swindon go up this year - they were a great little club. Great fans as well, what are they getting this year: 7,000? - they deserve a good year."

I was thinking of the exact same thing. When he was here he did more than King ever did. he was never appreciated. I think he did wonders.

Good assistant and indeed a top bloke to boot .. which is quite something when you consider he managed the Pox once .. the incredible thing is that it was when he WAS their manager he earnt my respect. My Highworth Junior team that I coached (think they were under 13 or 14 at the time) were playing in the Radley 6 a side .. and we made the final (sadly to lose) but Crozzer came over to me after the game (I think he was presenting the cups) and said "Youve got a quality team there - make sure you tell them it doesnt matter that you lost in the final as they were the better football team - all the other side did was kick it long!" - and im sure he knew we were from Swindon which made it all the more of a surprise!
