Don't know if this has been mentioned already but i'm betting wise and poyet wll keep their word to roberts and peacock respectively,if they score 20 goals each (chances are slim they will get near it) even though they are no longer at the club.

I have also been thinking that the players have for the past 4 months got to know wises & poyets game plan, tactics, set pieces e.t.c.

So being the guy adi williams is im sure he has taken that all on board and will continue to do the things in the same manner as he himself said he wanted to learn from wise.

I wonder in situations like this when a manager comes in to replace a manager that has left to go on to bigger and better things and leaves a squad that has been so far quite successful, whether he takes on board some of the tactics by the previous manager that has already started something good?

For instance say Sturrock came in and although wants to be his own man so to speak, would he ask say Adi williams and other players about how they have been playing and take on some of if not a large majority of wise's idea's which has worked well so far?

I'm not sure this happens all the time but it must on some occasions?

sorry just been on my mind that's all

A good manager will play to his players abilities. If the players are used to playing a certain way (i.e. the Wise way) then any decent new manager should IMO continue in the same vein.

Unless of course AK returns and we'll be playing hoof-ball for the rest of the season with two midgets up front.

Yeah i've been thinking the same sort of thing.
I just hope whoever comes in, doesnt go change it all, as the players like you say, would have got used to the training regime/tactics etc, so it would be a bad thing to go and change it all. Unless of course the manager had time to change it i.e. over pre-season.

hence why having someone who knows a bit about football involved in the process would have been good.  The interviews would have been the place to judge what the candidates were likely to do, and we could compare to what has been set-up so far.

I know if it was me coming into that situation i would try and nick as many good ideas as i could.

It's not like wise would say "don't tell him my tactics boys"

I love your avatar.

I think Ady is ideal as he knows the current training regime, tactics and set-up at the club so can continue in the same vein. The only question is whether he can make the transition from one of the lads to the gaffer.
