If there was an award for most improved player - he would win it, wouldn't he?

You reckon? Ifil has rid some of the inconsistencies from his game - but has not smith improved more? He looks a different player...

I'd tend to agree Juddie.....Smith has changed a lot.... It was always evident Ifil could be better, but with Smith it seems to be an unexpected improvement in my eyes.... Put him up front and see if he can score some goals!! :|

Jack Smith has been superb this season.... So yes probably. It would be between him & Ifil.

We all knew Ifil was a good player but far to inconsistant. However, I always thought Smith was shit last season and would therefore give hime most improved player

Not convinced by Pook yet. I agree he had a good game at Wycombe, but as a central midfielder he doesn't have the ability, yet, to boss a game in the same way evans would, or wise would!
I think Smith has turned his game around. He'\s probably one of the first names on the team sheet now and that's largely because he doesn't give the ball away, he looks confident and generally looks the business.
I would have said roberts after first seven games, but he seems to have dropped off the pace a tad.

Ifil's definitely the most improved, although very closely followed by Smithy.
Pook's shown signs of improvement and Nicholas is looking as though he's capable of improving on the form he showed in the play-off season.

Different sort of improvement from both of them: Jerel we knew had it in him - we saw it when he first came on loan - then again for the second loan - but slowly went downhill after being King's scapegoat game on game. He has developed, no doubt about it, but I think its also playing without fear and alongside a talker in Ady.
Jack Smith has always been nothing more than ok - but now he's pure composure (for this level) - something we haven't seen before. I'd put money on his pass success rate being the highest at the club.
Let both the ex-Watford lads have it!

jack smith was one of are better players last season, and same this season. Hes are main attacking threat on the right hand side, and debatabley one of the best crossers we've got.
