Work MADE me work a Tuesday evening which I don't normally do thus missing the barnet game. When I said I can't do it because I got football they started crapping about they don't work round football. It was my evening off to start with!

Just lie and say you have a season ticket. If they still make you work demand comp for missing the game because you have already spent money on it.

This is why I will NEVER get a job that involves working weekends. I am a stubborn bitch yes, not lazy but weekends are my time and I won't give them up for anybody so I always look for mon to Fri jobs.

Think yourselves lucky! I can only go midweek!

I only got to City away because I changed my shift and ran out of work early!

Will be at the Brentford game though!!  Cheesy

I missed the first two because of work, although I can say I don't want to work whenever I choose(I would just get paid alot less).  It would piss me off if it was like this all season, but by October I'll be going to all the games I want.

The only time it's really annoyed me is when I was going to Yeovil away with some lads from work, and obviously we couldn't all have a day off so none of us did.  Glad I hadn't forked out for the train tickets as well...

I do have a season ticket! I  told them when i started too.

Same  crap happened at the world cup, three people have season tickets at work (one is a spurs) and we always had to work while England were playing while all these sudden "football fans" got it off! Crap the lot of it.
