Let me know when it reaches you KT as I'm about 20 miles away from you; so should reach me shortly after you.

just went out to try and get a present for this party tonight and all the roads are blocked up. police all over the shop too, directing traffic. drains overflowing bigtime and many rivers along the roads. and the bloody off license was shut "due to rain", slackers.

was the storm a couple of weeks ago bad than this. I missed the storm a couple of weeks ago due to being in Mallorca.

Sorry dude, the storm put our power out, just got it back.  Looks like it's trying to calm down now.

Has it hit you yet?

Yes it has KT. Thought I'd closed all the windows at the back of my house as it was pouring in there but forgot my spare bedroom! The curtains probably needed a wash anyway!

Finished now though it appears and hasn't got any cooler at all.

Comet, Homebase and Next (by Asda) all closed thanks to their roof not working.

Might be some water damaged bargains tomorrow, though I wouldn't risk the comet stock!
