By 7,900 seats including new exec boxes.  Thought to be worth an extra £5 million a season in income.

Work will start at the end of the season with the development due to open in August 2007

Takes the Mickey that sort of cash...

don't they also have plans to build the old south stand to match the new 3 tiered north stand??? or vise versa.
Think they have problems cos of the train track which runs beind the stand.
would be such an impresive ground if they get the go ahead for that too

give me the CC any day Crying
got to say we (UK) have some pretty decent stadiums
with Old trafford hitting 76000 and Asburton at 60000 then with newcastle etc after that i think the world cup could be in the UK soon.
All the stadiums are there now. the main ones being
Rangers & Celtic
Millenium Stadium in Cardif
Old Trafford
St James' Park
Asburton Grove
Wembely
City of manchester stadium

then take your pick from
Villa
Chelsea
Middlesborough
Sunderland
Southampton
Liverpool
County Ground Wink

I think the best ones have to be (in order)

1. Wembley (when built)
2. Millennium Stadium
3. Old Trafford
4. Ashburton Grove (when built)
5. Hampden Park
6. City of Manchester/Eastville or what ever its called
7. St James' Park
