Clubcall understands that Swindon Town are weighing up an approach for Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling.

Ling, a former Swindon player, was first considered by the Robins in September when previous boss Andy King departed the County Ground after a poor start to the season.

I herd this may have been a possibility two weeks ago, it even made a hush-hush appearance on the Rivals site so there could be something in it.  I’m not sure it’s even plausible he’ll consider a move but if it’s starting to sneak out to the press there may just be a waft of smoke about it.

Anyone know how long he’s got remaining on his contract?

Looking back at the speculation linking him with the job after King was sacked he was going through a definite period of uncertainty with Orient but I’d wager my Gran’s sanitary towel that’s all in the past now.

Given the start Iffy’s made with contacts then I’d hazard a guess this is old news slipping out.
