his guy has been on fire. Any confirmation he is back yet? Scored Pools only goal on Saturday. I dont think we lost a game anytime Monkhouse played. Same at Hartlepool they didnt lose with Monky in the team.

BBC RS repored yesterday that a deal is expected to be tied up.
On paper it's not good for us, but what can you do if he turns around and says he doesn;t want to play for you and an offer comes in?
What would you do?

What would you do? True that but as said before in many posts there is no loyalty in football anymore. We send him out on loan for his and our benefit and he sees the grass is greener on the other side. What happens when he starts playing dross again they loan him out and he sees the grass is greener again etc etc etc...If i was the club i would fuck him off asap even if he is good. I want a team that wins can get promotion from this league and league 1 and wont bitch when they get put out on loan(it's for there own good). |

Today's Adver claims that no deal has been agreed and Monky will be back training with us on Thursday. Believe he's cup-tied now, my guess is we will sell him for a nominal fee. :shock:

Monkey implied in the paper he is keen not to burn any bridges either way and is waiting to sit down and have a chat with luggy on thursday. Time will tell, but i for one think he should be retained.
I dont think he played a cup game for pools ron did he?

i'd be a little disappointed to see him go but zaaboub seems a better option on the left imo.

Bring him back. Could do a job on the right if needs be and if we can stop another team in the hubt for promotion by recalling our player that will be far more valuable than a nominal fee. All the teams at the top seem to be inconsistent now except for Hartlepool.
