It was mine too but I don't judge someone on a penalty!

I judge his panalty taking on that one.

I judge his ability on years of watching him fail with numerous 60 yard passes, stupid bookings, and petulence.

That's fair enough but that particular fixture was pure, disgustingly, heartbreakingly stupid bad luck. Oh and Tommy Mooney's inability to keep hold of the ball in the dying moments  :?

It's weird, as Mooney often gets slated for that... i also seem to remember at the time being pissed off with Reeves for arsing about with it in our corner and giving them 'that' throw-in instead of hacking it clear.

From what I remember, they scored because Mooney tried to attack on his own instead of waste time and hold up the ball, he lost posession and Reeves (who was practically crippled in that game wasn't he?) put it out for a throw-in.

Painful, Painful night.

All my mates had been asking if I could get them tickets for the final when John Virgo netted.

The rest as they say, is history.

So Gurney has missed one penatly, which hit the post and came out....could have easily hit the post and gone in.

Super Sammy missed one against Blackpool in the play off season, should he have been taken off penalty duty.....Cunt Smith missed one against Franchise....does that mean he should never take one again.

Going on that Heywood should have been our penalty taker as he has a 100% record, taken one, scuffed it right down the middle, scored 1
