Classic Martin.... absolute cock....no doubt he'll want to lie down in front of the contractors. Chances of Swindon being selected from 41 applicants for 15 venues, are probably slight given the involvement of SBC. This is of course what Rikki Hunt wanted to see in the CG....and probably what the O*ford new boys want, as Kassam is trying to get one in his emporium.

We did think of putting in a proposal for the CG redevelopment of sticking a nightclub, brothel and casino in the ground as a way of recycling the players' wages straight back into the club!

what happens IF the council get permission, but then they decide to put this somewhere other than as part of a countyground redevelopment ? It sounds like it hasn't been done with the club in mind. If they also have hotel, conference facilities it would leave the club proper shafted I reckon, as the council are never going to develop two sites to do essentially the same thing.
