Listen to the Dex he knows it.

All of the promotions to date have resulted it sod all attendance wise, not enough to cover the cost from losing income.

They where advertised badly maybe but most people who are going to attend will have found out one way or another.

Even dropping a fiver, which is unlikely as hell it’s not going to bring in an extra thousand or so new heads consistently when it’s sub-standard entertainment on display.

Apparently this order was served by customs and Excise on the 4th of December before the AGM held on the 31st of December.  I imagine that the club have only publicly acknowledged it at all because of the story leaking.  Judging from the announcement at the AGM, St Mowden where already being lined up to loan the cash to cover the debt.

My first thoghts were:

Customs and Excise
            .
            .
Customs
            .
            .
Shit Kingy has been illegally importing his cigars without paying any duty. Probably adds up to millions

Seriously though. Think we were overdue a bit of a financial scare. Especially with the low attendances. Was thinking that everything had been running a bit calm recently. Sure it will get sorted out.

Quote from: "sonicyouth"

justification from board: "it's a day out" or "reasonable for a day out"

it's not a 'day' unless you go down the pub and then you're spending more dosh
