Be fair dazza, why should he walk away with (a big chunk of) money owed to him? I took VR last Sept and made damn sure I got every penny coming to me, and if my then employers hadn't paid me, I'd have taken action against them as well. Unless there's something we don't know about this (and, to be fair, there usually is) or something I've forgotten to take into account (and, to be fair, there usually is), I don't see how this is any different, really.

It’s personal opinion to be honest Paul.

He’s entitled to the money so we have no option to pay it.  More fool us for allowing him to be in a position where he was able to claim a penny after being dismissed.  In fact more fool us for hiring him second time around.

The fact that he obtained the job off the back of dropping his first court case and after listening to all of the bollocks “I am Swindon Town Football club”, “I have the club’s best interests at heart” over the past few years to now see him taking the club to court again is a bitter pill to swallow.  The fact that we’re struggling to pay him would indicate we’re struggling financially, as ever, which makes it all the worse.

Yeah, fair enough, although anyone who believes the "I'm taking such and such a course of action because I love the club" line from any manager or player at any club deserves all the disappointment they've got coming to them. He took the job because he knew he wouldn't get paid off, irrespective of the court case, because the club didn't have the money, and because he knew he wouldn't have got another manager's job elsewhere. Love for the club didn't come into it, never does, that's just the line they all parrot for the press because it sounds better than "I didn't have a hope in hell of getting my hands on the cash and no-one else wanted me".

On the flip-side, I don't especially blame the club for prioritising other bills over paying off King either.

Right on !

Let's get this straight ;

Has he walked into another managerial/coaching/scouting role ?

NO

Considering he has alledgedly not been paid since November, and with no discernable income, the guy must have been living off something to pay for his Hamlet's.

How many of us supporters could sustain any form of lifestyle with no wages for 6 months ?

We would all be bankrupt by now and living on the streets !

My fucking heart bleeds for him ..................... NOT !

Wasn't he rumoured to be working with Paul Jewell?
