A mate sold off his bang & olufsen system (bloody expensive kit too) and replaced it with something you just pop the iPod into as his main music thing at home, he's happy as Larry with it.



I want to do something like this, one for the home and then one for the car. Just plug the ipod in to an amp and have my whole music collection with me all the time. No more CD racks.

Currently I have cheap seperates at home and minidisc player in my car. I'm so 1990's

I have a handful of copied CDs and about 20 mp3s that I needed as specific tracks for things.  I don't really like all that stuff, prefer the CD owning experience, the booklet etc.  I use amazon used mostly or cd wow if I'm online.  But lots of my CDs I don't intend on buying I'll find them browsing the shelves which you can't really do online.
