The end of the season would be great.  At the end of the season wherever we end up and whoever is in charge (ideally with Iffy in League One) they will know where we are and how much we have to spend, many players will leave and the annual change in personnel will again happen.  If Bouazza can stay until then and help keep us up, as he looks capable of doing, then he will have been excellent.  You never know if Watford managed to go up and us stay up we may come to a deal over him.

i can't see us making many changes in the window, although the permenant addition of gurney would seem both likely and logical

agree with that, since gurney has come back he's been superb. swansea hardly need him as they're doing pretty well at the top. wages might be a stumbling block though.

i think collins, heath, mcdermott & possibly heaton will go back. i'd like to see heaton stay but its up to man utd. bouazza 'til the end of the season would be nice.

if we can offload cureton & thorpe, on free transfers if necessary, that would free up some wages for iffy to bring more players in (& possibly pay for gurney?). they must be the highest earners at the club & if they're not gonna play whats the point in them being on the wage bill. that money could give fallon a payrise & secure some of the other players contracts.

Thorpe will be a problem to get rid of, and I think he'll happily sit here and take his money, curo is on a 3 year deal as I remeber it, and seems to be doing OK on loan, there is a slight chance he'll leave on good terms for a small fee £30K maybe.  Tying up Fallon and Sean O on longer deals is worthwhile and I think Gurney will come back, as he's fallen out at Swansea and they're flying, the chance of first team football locally may see him come for low-ish wages.

I thought Cuero was a 2 year, not that it makes a big difference.

Personally I think Collins and Heath will be gone, and I won't shed a tear. If Gurney becomes permy (sorry) then I can see McD and Heaton staying, depending on Evans fitness. Hameur is a must but I worry that Watford won't let him get cup tied for a reason - though it may just be sensible in keeping their options open.

I think we'll see another 2 faces. If Hameur stays they will probably be midfielders, if he goes then a midfielder and a striker.

Heaton will stay till the end of the season, I cant see why Man Utd would want to drag him away from first team football

Gurney I reckon the loan will be extended till the end of the season, then after that Swansea will try and talk him out of his contract, then we'll actually re-sign him in the summer

Collins & Heath hopefully go back and never ever return

McDermott id be tempted to keep him, he looks alright in patches

Bouazza is not rated by Watford fans, I doubt we'll sign him any time soon but remember Jerel Ifil. Watford offered him a new contracted because they rated him, a few months later and he was a town player.

According to Alex Stepney Man Utd will leave him at Swindon provided he has a realistic chance of first team football.  Smiley

I think Gurney will be a free transfer in January - he never should have left and left against his will (should've got rid of Hewlett instead)
